Lisa Pierce’s Dedication Lives On: How a Memorial Scholarship is Shaping NJIT’s Residence Life

Tragically, Lisa’s life was cut short, and the campus community mourned the loss. To honor Lisa’s extraordinary legacy, Dr. Elaine Bochniewicz, ’03H established the Lisa A. Pierce Memorial Residence Life Scholarship in 2022. This initiative, supported by friends, colleagues, and NJIT alumni, provides financial assistance to individuals deeply involved in the university’s Office of Residence Life, ensuring that the welcoming environment Lisa created continues to thrive on campus.
